Financial performance The bank achieved a net income of 4,715 million riyals for the period ending on December 31, 2020, compared to a net income of 5,602 million riyals for the same period of the previous year, a decrease of 15.8%. Total operating income amounted to 11,205 million riyals for the period ending on December 31, 2020, compared to 10,717 million riyals for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 4.6%. Solvency The bank’s total assets amounted to 310,088 million riyals at the end of the period ending on December 31, 2020, compared to 265,789 million riyals for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 16.7%. As for customer deposits, they increased by 4.4% to reach 203,039 million riyals on December 31, 2020 AD, compared to 194,518 million riyals on December 31, 2019 AD. The loans and advances portfolio (net) increased by 10.0%, reaching 191,347 million riyals on December 31, 2020 AD, compared to 173,982 million riyals on December 31, 2019 AD. Credit rating strength The international rating agency Fitch maintained the issuer's short-term credit rating at (F-2) and the long-term liabilities rating at (BBB+). Standard & Poor's also rated short-term liabilities at (A-2) and long-term liabilities at (BBB+).
